Tblazer pops out of forward gear sometimes. What's the fix?

Tblazer pops out of forward gear sometimes. What's the fix? I shift it in forward, gently apply the gas and about 20% of the time it'll pop out. It never does it in reverse.

Adjust your gear shift linkage.

You mean between the lever and the engine right? It's not some sort of internal adjustment is it?

Pop of your right side cover ,there will be two rods with adjusting and lock nuts at each end.Just fool around with them untill you get the shift action you want than tighten the lock nuts.Remember one end of the rod is a left handed thread and the other end is right handed,so be careful not to strip anything.

Also, when you shift, use a quick 'snap' action to select your range, rather than a slow push, this will help, too.
