Front diff input shaft seal (leak)
Okay, in the last two days I did about 50 minutes of plowing and not a hint of a leak. I am thrilled that this actually worked out! Now we'll just see how long it lasts.
What I plan on doing soon in case there is another leak in the future, is to contact Hilliard directly and see if they can sell me a couple of seals separate from the kit that the dealer orders. The kit is $40 and comes with all seals and O-rings for the whole differential. Since you only need the one seal and one O-ring, I'm sure it would be cheaper if they can be purchased individually. I'll post here with what I find out about this.

Hilliard Corp has not replied to my email. But two weeks since I last reported that there is no leak, everything is still dry. I've done lots of plowing and regular winter riding since then. Looks like its going to hold up just fine. I'll try to contact Hilliard Corp again.
