You dont run gear lube in the tranny you need a chain case lube.Best bet is polaris AGL or amsoil chaincase lube

Hi,

I went to my Polaris dealer and asked for the gearbox oil(valvoline), the guy said he only has 1.1Gallons bottles, and it was too expensive, and told me to buy the gearbox oil, on a car parts dealer, with 75w80 viscosity, he said it would do. Can u tell me the viscosity of the Polaris AGL oil?

ask for agl, they sell it in quarts if not they can get it 4 sure ,
