ATV Security locks and chains
What insurance company are you using? Between my home owners and my ATV insuranec with Progressive I'm covered and never been told to lock it up.
I do lock mine but use a combination of things. At home I run a heavy duty cable and contractor grade lock through them. While camping I use that, and an Alarm called a LockAlarm which will sound off a 129db alarm if its broken or the cable is cut. Then I cover them and have used small bells to make noise if they are moved.

I use plastic coated Krytonite cable and railroad locks on the trail.
Home protection...I also have a wireless motion sensor on the atv and is powered by the atv battery. If the sensor is triggered, my Infared Red webcam records the motion in the garage. I can see whats going on from any pc. It also emails me via blackberry. Its backup is a Baretta 40ACP

i take a front and rear tire on opposite sides off mine and put it on blocks in addition to chaining it to a post in my carport its not really that much trouble compared to having your rig stolen. i keep the tires locked in a closet in the house. also leave some empty shell casings lying around especially near a red paint stain. sounds crazy but nobody messes with my ride when i am gone to work for a couple of days.

I received my Onguard Beast Chain & Lock yesterday and you should see it. The chain has 12mm titanium links and the lock is a Beast and you get 5 keys. Here is the website.
