Do you want or need another 4x4?? If not why not look into a Z-400, 400ex, Predator, etc. If you want sporty yet still want 4x4 option you'll love a Scrambler. If you don't want a 2-stroke, 400's are out of question. The best thing to do is put a clutch kit in whatever you buy if it doesn't already have one in it.

Scramblers are clutched very soft from the factory for safety purposes. With a kit in them they turn into wheelie & ground shredding monsters.

Ummm.... Warriors are not 4x4. Are you meaning Wolverine?? If you are meaning Warrior, get a Z-400 or 400ex. Warriors are slow, rough riding & just plain outdated.

I don't know about the brand new Wolverines, but I know the older ones were a 5 speed. A Scrambler would be much more trail & rider friendly. If you're looking at Sporty & 4x4, the Scrambler is the better choice. A Wolverine is more like 80% utility 20% sport, whereas the Scrambler is 80% sport & 20% utility.

why don't you like teh 2 strokes? my 2 stoke is hte best thing i ever had for an atv it beats my 500 in my mind. my 500 is alot of work it doens't like to start that easy. its a beast to start when it is hot. especialy if it had a dead batery and you are pull starting. you can sit on the 4oo and pull start it. the oild is put in a seperate tank and you can go at least 5 tanks of fuel before you fill the oil so you never have to mix the gas. and they both have good power and the 400 is good for teh sportyness that you are looking for but still trail friendly. i had mine threw rivers and mud bogs it had to get pulled threw the swamp but it is a 2/4 sport. but it has teh same engine as the scrambler i drove the scrambeler 4/4 with teh 400 and it is just fun. especialy on a frozen lake you can fly. my 2/4s would never to close to even with spikes. the front grips and pulls. great in mud 2. and don't let people tell you you always do spark plugs i havn't taken mine out in 2 years.

I have had both 400s and 500s and my 500 is more dependable than either of my 400s and needs less attention.
Granted the 400s are a power house nd will run with any sport machine out there.
