Hey mcfly, I showed her your pics and she wants to know how and where you got all of those Blue accessories, Racks, Handguards and Brushguard.
Sweet machine.</end quote></div>
Thanks. I got the blue brushguard, blue handguards, and blue front rack extension from my local Polaris dealer, but i think they sell most of those same items at http://www.purepolaris.com . Its hard to see, but theres also a blue radiator protector on there i got from http://www.jamhard.com .

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>But it does take at lest 20 min to get warm then you must still dink arount w/ the choke to keep it running or it will fall flat on its face</end quote></div>
Not with mine, once I go inside after its 30 second half choke warm up it will idle on its own until thurday.

Have to agree with TLC on the starting thing, The Hawkeye starts right up and runs fine on about a min. at half choke then push it in and forget it for the rest of the day...this worked flawlessly this last winter down to -15 degrees! The 400HO seems to be just as good but we will wait till next winter for the real test
Side note...checked the Cali EPA registrations and the listed KW/HP for the Hawkeye is 17kw/23.25 HP

Because $900 buys alot of gas would be my thought.

The "wife" says to me lets sell the old Red honda fourtrax and trade in the hawkeye for a bigger wheeler, i said after being in shock for a few minutes after her statement look at this Polaris 500 or 800, the 800 cost to much for me so its down the 500 class, Ive not ridden the 400 ho yet but i will, Since we will be down to one four wheeler it need to be able to hold 2 people if it needs to and about 120 pounds of freight, The wife always has input ,,, bla bla bla LOL

Keep in mind....if you buy the HO you'll be dropping at least $250 on new tires right from the git-go...the tires that come on it are only good for dirt roads and grass...no mud or sand. Plus, those wheels on it are sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. The red looks good, too...only problem is they don't offer the shiny wheels on the red...only the black and the blue.
EFI, EFI, EFI, EFI!!!!! Come on, all together now...EFI, EFI, EFI...DO IT, RICKEY!!!!
