i recently bout a 02 scrambler 500 4x4 for $1200 is that a pretty good deal it had six huors on it. i had to put a battery in it. i also had to put the mechanical seal in it not too hard to do i love it i have always rode manual tranny bikes but i figured for the price i cant go wrong i fell in love with the automatic the firs time i rode it is there any thing i can do to get just a little bit more bottom end grab without givin up top end

that was a good score. since you got such a good deal, it wont be hard to justify doing a few mods. first off, for that bottom end grab like you want, youll need to do some clutching. aaen performance, HPD, or ritter can set you up with what you need. tuned to how you ride.
have fun!

Possibly change the bands in your drive system. I had a 2000 500 scrambler. And I changed to different bands. That got a little more bang on the low end. There is always pipes and jetting too which can boost up a little more juice.
