Oultaw 90 4 stroke won't run
 

My son has a 2008 Outlaw 90, with 5 hours on it. Ran it for about 30 mins. We stopped and took a break and it would not start. Starter was cranking way. looked for water in plug connection and it was dry. Then tried the plug while it was out and it was not sparking. Towed it for 15 mins or so and tried it and it started right up. Headed down the trails and it crapped out again. Could get it started with the choke, but would not run at all with the choke off. Drove it as far as it would go and had to tow it again. Started running good again and tried one more time and had to tow again and i got fed up and we left. After an hour and a half drive home, i tried it again and won't start.

Anyone have any clue about this???

No problems like that with ours! HOWEVER our predator 90 had a similar problem and it was due to water getting into the electric system that was fixed by adding a lot of dielectric grease. the EASY answer take it back to the dealer with as little time that you have on it they should be more than willing to look at it and fix it.

Ok. After weeks..here is what i found:
CDI bad for the no spark issue.
Vent tube from gas tank was pinched off.
dealer was no help at all. They couldn't duplicate the problem. I had to do it myself and it is under warranty.

Don't that just piss you off? You bring it to them under warranty, they think they can talk to you like your a f***in idiot. They don't fix it and then you have to fix it yourself. Now who is the idiot(service dept).

I did get a copy of the ignition system from the shop manual though. But yeah, they didn't take of me at all. After only a few hours on it I was ready to shove it up their a$$'s. Is there a lemon law on ATVs?? lol I will not buy another bike from them if I have to drive 2 hrs or not. If I drive to the closest dealer in Oklahoma (non Polaris) where I got my Raptor, it is 45 mins drive and I don't pay tax in OK or TX!

Join the club our dealer that was an A$$ and scayrood us on our 50 Polaris has us driving an extra 20 minutes to a dealer that has gone out of it's way to take care of us. Hence we then purchased a quad from him (by the way THANKS TUF IN DEKALB, IL YOU ROCK!) and have taken everything I have not been able to fix (or not wanted to) back to them and in the end it has been the dealer that has made the difference more than anything!
