Newbie: Polaris 500 ho stalls, no 4wd in reverse
thanks again for the advice.
this atv starts cold even without using the choke. I took it out last night and didn't have any problems. I read the manual inside and out but did not memorize it. I am going to go through the steps atvgooroo advised and let you know of my results.
thanks jeff

okay................
this is definately a throttle issue. I did as atv gooroo advised and adjusted the throttle...all went well but when i tie wrapped the wire back to the handlebar the throttle adjusted itself higher. So now I can adjust the idle throttle by gently tugging on the throttle cable, which sucks. Now when I am riding the throttle cable only has to move a little bit to screw the idle throttle up, which is probably my main problem. I gently move it by the ETC box and it changes idle.
Any ideas???
