Well right now I am currently stationed in Iraq and bought my polaris right before I left and it has been 8 months and she is just sitting in the barn. I am trying to learn more about it, and I heard that you can adjust the rear shocks for added lift. Is this true?

They have a 5 position preload adjustment! If you crank them up it will raise the rear up an 1" or so, but the ride will be stiffer also.

 

And that is probley still not going to be stiff enough so people replace them with a heavier duty spring... I put X2 springs in mine which were VERY stiff and needed a car press to compress them and after about 1 month there great here....

 

i have never had any issues w/ my rear springs not being heavy enough and i run my adjuster on th scond notch from the softest at 220 lbs.
