Moving Radiator
Thinking on moving my rad. Anyone done it before? Is there some aftermarket bracket system that can be purchased to make it easier?

Never tried it. http://www.highlifter.com/index.php You can get a snorkel kit too.

Not sure if I'm into the snorkel thing. Wanted to raise the rad so it doesn't get so full of crap so easily. MAy get one of those temperature guages though. They seem like a good idea.

Not much mud and crap will get in the radiator when it's sitting ON TOP of your rack like the HighLifter. SERIOUS mud boggers do that, snorkels, and lift kits. Anyplace I can't go stock I probably shouldn't be going.

I just notice the picture of the rad now. Hmmmmmmm seems kinda high. I was hoping to somehow put it in the winch area and lower the winch. Never though of a lift kit. A couple inches can't hurt.

hopefully it can get forward air flow or it can be considered manualflow....

Hey Randy let me check a few files I saved off. There is a guy
on here, can't remember his name that cut out his front cargo box to fit his RAD! Really cool, pics and all on how to do it! R' |

I wondered just the other day why you couldn't cut some holes in the box and mount a couple of fans on the bottom and the radiator on top.
|
Moving Radiator
That be great R', pictures would be nice.
You mean lay it flat Frank? Can't quite picture what you mean. |
Moving Radiator
Yeah, lay a big fat radiator down flat with two or three fans blowing up through it. The box would be like a cowling in a car to direct all the air.
