2002 SP700, Front A-arm movement
I am working on a 2002 SP700 that has been beat to death. It looks like crap, but runs and drives very well.
The one issue is the front A-arms have a ton of slack where they meet the frame. When you grab a front wheel and force it to roll forward and back, there is a distinct clunk as the a-arm slides forward and back on its bushings at the frame. Anyone have experience replacing these for a similar problem? Do they come as a kit from Polaris, or do I need to buy bushing components individually? Any help would be appreciated. deej |

You can buy long and short bushings separately for it. They just slide into the holes in the end of the arm. It's a fairly cheap fix for a serious problem. You can see them at Polaris Parts. http://parts.polarisind.com/Assemblies.asp

It's so simple a caveman can do it.
I did my Trailblazer when it had the same problem. |
