I don't usually by Quad magazine. I might this time. I'd be interested to see what else they've come up with. I hope they didn't do away with the front storage under the rack. If they did someone should smack them around a bit to knock some sense into their heads. I think the tires look like Goodyears. Not bad, but I think the PXTs were probably the best stock tires out there. Looks don't phase me that much. Power steering would be nice.

Yea, I picked up the newest DIRT WHEELS mag
with 2009 line ups. Nothing on any of the Polaris
quads, DOLE!
But as for the new 850, I think new features
are cool, but really don't know if I would want
it as small as the new SP400 for my size at
least, more concerned about side roll and such.

It still has the front storage! It is molded into the front plastic just like the Hawkeye which in my opinion is a much better design/look.
If you aren't a big fan of the fangs, a little black paint and the inevitable brush guard will do wonders just like the Hawkeye/300/400 HO
The rear rack looks to be something very different! They seem to be molded right into the rear plastics...not sure this is a positive or negative till we get a better look in person!
Have been seeing a lot of negative comments on the 14" rims but it was necessary to accommodate the huge brake rotors! Sounds like your old aftermarket rims won't work!
I'm a bit puzzled on how they are utilizing a CVT with the engine running longitudinal...my simple mind can't handle this one yet! LOL!

Cheers,

Hey guys, sorry to barge in and steal the post but I'm having a horrible time with the site. This is literally the only thread I can access. I can logout and view any of the areas here but if I log in everything goes whacko. I'm hoping maybe someone could pass this info on, I know the site has been having problems but from what I can see everyone else is able to post and navigate the site. Thanks!
