Disconnecting Oil Injection

I have a 1994 Polaris 400 Explorer that smokes like a mosquito sprayer and fouls the plug in just a day or two.It has fouled plugs since it was new but has gotten worse with time.I dont think the oil injection is working right and would like to do away with the injection and mix with the gas.Can I just drain the tank, disconnect the oil line? What ratio do I mix oil/gas.

if its fowling plugs i doubt its the oil pump, more likley your carb.....

rebuild that thing, and jet it for your altitude and mods, its not getting enough gas if its fowling, or its pulling way to much of both.

Just unhook the cable that opperates the oil pump, and mix your gas at 50 to 1. No reason to rebuild anything, this way you never have to worry about your oil pump failing.

It may just need to be adjusted.
