Don't remove the cylinder head yet. Remove the carb and exhaust pipe and LOOK inside. See if the skirt of the piston is cracked or broken.

Hi 94harley I got one more important question for you like I said in the beginning of this forum I remove, clean the carb and put it back the way I take it out. looking at the web parts catalog about carb it show how things put back together and wich way it's facing. looking at may carb from top facing handle bar my PLUNGER is located in rigth side gas line on left. but looking back at parts catalog it's the other way around plunger on left and gas line on rigth? my carb it held by ruber boot on each end one end of my carb the one goes in to air fillter has 3 or 4 small pipe passageway inside the carb and everytime I pull the recoil starter gas coming out on the end. I was wondering if the man I buy this atv put it back wrong way? thanks for your time

p.s how do i check if my oil seal is getting bad?

The plunger should be on the right side(recoil side) and the fuel line should be on the left sidea(clutch side) It shouldn't be able to be installed wrong due to the size of the boots, and the openings on the carb.

Did you replace the needle valve and float pin in the carb or just clean them? Are all your vent lines on the carb running towards the ground?

USUALLY, when a needle valve is bad it will run fuel out the overflow, into the air box, into the cylinder, or all of the above.

Do you have access to a mity-vac or a low pressure pump(in low pressure I mean capable of 10psi or less)

Did you pull the flywheel when you did the starter?

When you removed the 10mm head plug on the bottom of the crankcase did you make sure the hole inside the crankcase was not plugged?

Which oil seal are you referring to? Crank seals? Recoil Seal?

hello everyone it's been a long time I finaly found the problem 1) it was my compression tester it want's reading rigth it was of 30psi so I got new one and it cost me $50 compare with $10 one from princesauto. 2) anyway I check my compression and it was 80psi. so I remove the motor and open the head by the look of the piston it need to send the jug for machining. I got it back and she fire rigth up on first pull it cost me $650 for top ,bottom & parts redone. thanks all of you for all the good help. khris
