Default Rev Limiter on 1999 Polaris Magnum 500?

Quick question about this ATV... I have been doing research on it, and can't seem to find where the rev limiter is... Most of the earlier models seem to have a seperate box which looks similar to the Voltage regulator attached in front of the radiator.
According to the wiring diagrams provided by Polarisindustries.com there is not a seperate rev limiter box on this model.
The override button has a Gray/orange wire that connects to the speedometer along with the AWD, etc.

My speedometer has the backlight, but does not show speed or mileage, the AWD doesn't work (I know I can bypass this by grounding the brown/white wire), and I am wondering if the rev limiter is part of the speedo package and causing the motor to bog down at any speed past 1/4 throttle?

If so, how do I bypass the limiter?

Thanks!

Default Rev Limiter on 1999 Polaris Magnum 500?

I would try the search option on this site ,use the "advance" and search "title only". Never had a rev limiter problem but many people may have. I think the 500 Magnum is just a Sportsman with a straight axle,so any results involving a 500 Sportsman would be handy as well.
