I sincerely an very much need wiring diagram. Lost key, loosened headlight cover and pulled the ignition out. Placed screw driver across the two bigger copper points and started it. Started it twice this way. So i decided to leave the ignition out and started it this way, until I could order a new ignition with key. So I moved the ignition to the right side of the headlight housing and put the headlight housing screws back in. Tried the "new" starting method, nothing happened, pulled the headlight cover back off completely this time, and the first thing that I was was four ugly "naked" pieces of wire. A rat had make a bed inside of the headkight housing. When I moved the ignition to the right side of the housing apparently the naked ares of the wires touched and blew a fuse. Need sugestions and if at all possible a download for the wiring diagram. Thanking all in advance.

 

Just remove protective sheathing and repair one wire at a time! Should be able to match all the color code wires! Time consuming I know,BUT cheaper than letting dealer do it. I've done many "rat" jobs and the cost can get expensive because most dealers do it only by how much time involved! Probably blew thermal fuse located in plastic pouch,should reset when re wiring done if still good. Disconnect battery if possible while repairing.
