I'll add an OOH-RAH for all service members not able to be home with their loved ones this Christmas. Thank you!!!

Scrambler-it is beamed to Iraq!!!! Not everyone has internet access...but you would be amazed how many do...the majority have internet access. The troops are pretty well taken care of over there...as they should be. Heck chow on a base in Iraq is better than in the States. Again,as it should be! Of course not everyone gets to enjoy that everyday, but most do. And the ones that don't get it every day still get it often.
Our service members sacrifice alot and rest assured you are taking care of them as best you can. The system isn't perfect of course, but it is alot better than it has ever been.

Take it from a guy who has been there a time or two....the troops appreciate the backing and support of the American people, like this thread, more than any material object or comfort of home....

Merry Christmas

Yes,but maybe we could get a moderator or someone to set this up as a sort of christmas card from the members of atv connection. We could do it on an annual basis. Then if we knew some sargeants over there they could show there troops if we e-mailed it to them just a thought.
Oh and Merry Christmas

Yea, it sucks being 7,000 miles from home during the holidays... doesn't matter whether your eating sand in Iraq or Afghanistan or knee deep in a rice patty in Nam... it just sucks. Glad the folks nowadays appreciate what these brave men and women do. There was a time when that wasn't the case.
