What tires fit Stock 850XP wheels?
 

Does anyone have a listing of fitment for the XP? I would like to not go wider if possible. The searches I've done indicate the usage of spacers or aftermarket wheels.

I think I saw that Polaris is selling a couple of other tires for the XP on their Pure Polaris website. I don't remember the brand they were. I don't think they had pics of both posted when I saw it.
Most if not all of the aftermarket tires I've seen are wider and/or taller than the stock tires on the XP's.
I will probably go with the Bighorns and 1" spacers on the back.

Yep, the XP guys with aftermarket tires seem to be reporting that spacers (or aftermarket wheels) are a must. The stock tires on the rear are 10" wide and already are very close to the sway bar. All the 14" aftermarket tires seem to be 11" wide for the rears.

With that said, the Maxxis Zilla's in 26" have specs that seem to indicate that the run a little narrow. The 26 X 11 X 14 are listed with a section width of 10.4". They might work, and they might not? It would depend on the section width of the stock rear tires.

These look to be wider than the stock XP wheels and accept larger tires. The site says the fronts 14x7 with 26x10x14 tires and the rears are 14x8 with 26x12x14 tires. I wonder if you can buy the wheels only and what the cost is. This might be a good alternative to using aftermarket wheels with spacers, if you like the look.

I'm waiting on a set of 27-10-14 maxxis zilla's, they're going on all 4 corners of my new xp. I'm hoping to avoid spacers/aftermarket wheels, I'll post pics once I get it done.

The Terracrosses come in a 25x10x14 that works with no mods if you don't mind running a 25..
One of these days when I get bored I'm going to disconnect my swaybar and see how it affects handling....no rear sway bar opens up alot of opportunies for rear tires...

I think canadianharley may be on to someting. I could put on 27x10x14 Mudlites all the way around. They are supposed to be for the front (with 27x10x14 for the back). I have never done that before. I've always had bigger tires in back. canadianharley where did you find those Zilla's? I could not find them.

I've thought about doing that as well but I want 26's...
The 850 has plety of power to turn 27's but I do alot of slow riding and hill climbing,with the higher low range and the way the clutching is set up it is perfect with the 26's...you can tell a difference with the 27's. With the 27's you need to ride a little fast for the stuff I ride in order to keep the engine RPMs up where they need to be. Until someone perfects a clutch kit I'd prefer 26's for my riding style.

Speaking of 1" and 1.5" spacers...

Would they wear out suspension components any faster than not having them installed? Any Negative effects?
