I agree guys... they should be able to modify the skids to eliminate that sharp transition. They seemed to have add plenty of decent drain slots which should help.
I don't think it's being too picky... just smart.
The good new is... all these little details will be ironed out by the time I get mine.

Roofer-
I just put the jack(using a 2x4 to spread the load) where there is frame support just above the skid and the area is relatively flat and I've never had a problem.
If I'm lifting both ends I use 2 jacks and I put a stand under each footwell just to keep it from rocking. With the skids using stands to support the machine is more of a challenge that anything..glad I have 2 jacks lol..
On the XP up front either at the very front where the loop is,or further back toward the middle where the frame flattens out. As long as the load is spread with a 2x4 either place will work IMO. On the back, there is a frame crossbar right before where the frame transitions upward(just behind and below the tranny..its fairly flat and supported there.

Looks like a quality product! I think the front and rear a-arm protectors would be a must have! Actually...maybe Polaris should take a look at them...and well...offer a better OEM design.
Well done Ricochet! I have saved the link...

Well it doesn't look like they are going to change the footwells...at least not initally...they don't have the machine anymore...
Another note..they said the front doesn't bolt to the frame where the GURU bumper does..so likely a little cutting should be all that is needed at most to fit them with the bumper...
I think I'll wait and see what the Aluminum products skids look like..

Just got off the phone with Ricochet again...they went back and looked at it and they are going to do a removable plate over the oil filter. It will require drilling 2 small holes in the stock metal around the stock access hole, you'll then install automotive style clip nuts(not sure of the technical term, lol) to screw the plate to....drilling the 2 holes is not a big deal at all to me..
It will be one of those things you can install it or not, your choice...
Also they are going to try to get some pics of the skids on the website tonight..obviously the plate won't be shown yet.

These skid plates look bulletproof!. I need to purchase some soon.
