2001 Polaris 90 won't hold charge
 

I have a 2001 Polaris 90 2-stroke with a new battery. The battery won't hold a charge and therefore I need to keep recharging the battery. How do I check to see if the quad is charging the battery correctly?

have somebody hold the throttle at about 2500 - 3000 rpms. check the voltage at the battery. should be 13.5v - 15v.

this happened to mine, but mine is an 05 2 stroke. in the seat theres the battery right, the red line that goes to the battery, well that has a fuse holder, make sure the fuse is in properly and touching both ends of the red wire.
