Is there a factory cover that must be removed before the winch is installed?? If so, should I get it from the dealer and trim it like HO says??

IMO it looks much better!! I need to go to the dealer on Sat I will see if they have one for me. Like the front racks I never got that cover back either.

My dealer just e-mailed me back and said the 2009 XP's don't have a cover where the winch goes. Is he full of it or what?? I looked on the Polaris web site and saw nothing. HO, I can't see the pics you posted.

Your dealer has overlooked something. There certainly is a "grille Knockout" occupying the winch opening.

I have one being shipped to me from another member and im going to do what HO did,looks nice. The Brownings and LE's are the only one's that doesnt come with one since the winch is installed by the factory.
