I don't have a boat right now but I do love going up the river and catching a few steelhead!
I'm hoping to move up near Cour d Alene in a few years, I have a piece of ground near Harrison, 3 mi. from the lake! Can't hardly wait! LOL!

Rancher 55 I'm out of Orofino. I'm going up to the head end of the North Fork next weekend just to see it in the winter. Hopefully, no Canadian Canines just lots of Elk and Deer. My nephew went into Grandad Bridge last weekend (7' of snow on Bertha Lookout) on his 700 x2 with tracks and seen 17 head of Elk standing on the ice under the bridge. Didn't see any wolves but did see lots of tracks.

Mongrol are you around Cranbrook? Used to have a great time competeing there in the Timber Sports when I was in college. Great area, with great people. Orofino competes against Bonners Ferry for highschool sports so we get up into that area quite abit. Just have to make a long weekend and maybe come play on your side of the border.

Yea the news said the other day that the wolves are depleting the deer and elk herd by 15% a year +the gain in deer and elk herds before the reintroduction of wolves was 7% a year so the total impact of the wolves is around 22% reduction in our game herds, PER YEAR! Idaho was going to start a legal season for wolves until the liberals voted in Obama, he put a stop to that! What a bummer!

WFOIdaho, I thought I was the only one around here using the forum! Maybe we can meet somewhere this summer and go for a ride!
