I'd say that 500 fuji is probably Polo's best but you havta go a loooooooong way to beat ACats Suk 500, now that motor is rock solid. But Im not here to start a motor war, just wanted to conferm that Polo's 500 wasnt there own...Thanks.</end quote></div>

Ok..so your point to your buddy is proven Polaris does not make the tried and true 500....but to say it has to go along way to beat the Suzuki 500 motor is a stretch at best..lol Besides that isn't an AC motor right? lol..not sure what exactly is the point it? Neither AC of Polaris makes a reliable engine? lol
I think it is premature to say the 500 is Polaris' best motor.. the Polaris made twins are doing suprisingly well IMO..if you look solely at engine failures the Polaris motors are quite reliable..likely as reliable and "solid" as any ATV engine out there...only actual engine probelms with a Polaris twins I am aware of were caused by sinking them..I'm not talking EFI or engine accessory problems ect..I mean actual engine problems....
Of course they have not been around long enough to determine of they will run forever like the Honda motors..but so far they are proving to be extremely reliable IMO..

To date the only problem of any frequency with the Fugi 500 class engines, (425, 455, 500), has been top end wear from using the wrong weight oil! Use the right oil and these will serve you well for ever!

Polaris advantage
Ac/Suzuki 500= 32HP

Fuji 500=35hp(H.O) 36hp (EFI)

Suzuki Advantage

Cam lobes cheap there shape no matter what motor oil they use.
