My Wife's new XP EPS
Our first real day of riding was Saturday, my wife rode for 106 miles, 40 before lunch and the rest before 5PM with me trailing behind on my 500. Before the power steering just 50 miles and she hurt, hands arms and shoulders, and was ready to call it a day. Now all I see is a cloud of dust to know which way she went. I did love riding my 500 but after loading her 850 I felt like mine was broke, how could it steer so hard and I never notice. Now I have found a hundred miles of lumps and bumps, rocks and dust, twist and turns will make these old bones hurt and the cure may be a XP550 EPS.

Amen to that!. Power steering is the way to go if you are a long distance rider.

LOL..yep..heck even a non-eps XP will leave you feeling alot better after a long ride..they steer way easier than the old sportys..

yea it sounds like polaris finally got it right on the always hard steering. that was always my wifes biggest issue and w/ bigger tires it takes more to turn it and after a hard day on hard trails(like only 40 miles) we were dead. maybe someday we'll trade up to the upgraded bikes.

Buy the 550 EPS for her... and keep the 850 EPS for you.

I would love to upgrade but I just put out all this money for accessories and mods, wheels etc. I am happy with mine eventhough its a BIG monster. Like Stendori, I may consider one day..
