I was just wondering if anyone has used the plastic renew stuff advertised in dirtwheels. If you don't know what I am talking about look in March 2001, pg. 159.

I need something like that and just wondered if anyone has used it. Any info would be good.

If anyone has had something sililar I would also like to hear about that. Any home remidees for scratched plastic would help.

 

if you want to give the plastic a little more shine. start with 2000 grit wet sand paper and work up to 4 or 5000 and wet sand it then use a very fine compound do this until you can't see sand marks finish it off with a nice coat of wax this should take the fade and most of the scratches out. Maybe even the sanding and the plastic renew used together would probably do a pretty good job. It's alot of work!!!
