Gorilla lift kits ?

What do you guys and girls think of the gorilla lift kits. I'm thinking about a 4" lift with the axles included. I think this would finish off my atv. But I hope it doesn't really ruin the bike for other riding. Let me know what you guys think. Thank You.

Lift

In my opinion you can't go wrong with a complete Gorilla lift. Had the 6" on my 05 800 and loved every minute of it!

Gorilla lifts are sweet... I have never had one but I have always wanted one. I have to think it would effect the trail ridding a little bit

Lift

It wasn't bad on the open trails. Make sure if you lift it to put 1" wheel spacers up front(and rear too if you want-I only had them on the front) to widen the stance a bit. The Gorilla kits widen the stance too(6" lift widens it 3") but my 800 went down the trail much better with the spacers. I don't recommend riding side by side at higher speeds until you get used to how it handles with a lift/tires.

Thanks guys on your reply, I've been looking around on the website for gorilla and man do I want one. I think it would complete my bike. I don't care if I'm slower than everybody I started this project 07 800 sp and I would really like to see it finished besides you can't take the money to the grave right. The only thing is shipping and duty in Canada is a killer, there going to rape me at the border for this kit and also the shipping company because of the weight.

Your ride would look sick with a 4" lift!!!!

I agree, Gorilla is good, stuff, you need to check out the highlifter forums, they are into muddin big time, also check out Catvos, they have very high quality things too

I never heard of catvo's, I here a lot of good thing about high lifter and gorilla. I'm just scared that the handling will completly go out the window with this lift on it. I'm still thinking hard about it yup I see smoke. Better stop thinking don't want to burn the cell just yet.

Lift

The lift isn't so much of what will affect the ride as the tires. Any agressive tire with big lugs will grab at everything it can on the trail. My lifted 05 800 danced around a bit going WOT down the trails but not enough that it couldn't be kept under control. The fun times in the mud more than made up for it!!!

You live close too Superior wi. I've been thru Duluth a few times it's nice there. Where do you ride in your area? Thanks for tips on the lift, what did you have for a lift? What do you recommend for lift?
