find the solinoid "im not shure where it is on an xp" then take the input side "large red wire that comes from the battery and goes to the large post side on the solinoid". take either a large wire, screwdriver or evon a plires and short the battery side of the solinoid to the other large post on the soilnoid that goes to the starter. dont touch anything else cept the 2 posts or your gona have a large amount of sparks.

Jumping the posts is pretty simple, if you can get a screwdriver to posts you'll want to make a connection between the post. Like making a bridge from one post to the other, or even a heavy piece of wire will do. Once it's started let off. you may see some sparks when you connect the posts so don't freak out and think your going to blow it up.

no it wont wreck nothing as your doing what the solinoid dose. cept you bypassing the solinoid. if it turns over or starts let off like you would with the key. if you get no responses where it is just follow the red wire from the battery.
