250 Trailblazer with a snow plow (I know, it's early)
2 Attachment(s)
Thought I'd post up the latest add-on for my Trailblazer. Although the quad is meant to be a "sport" model, I've been using it mainly for utility work and thought it would be more fun to plow the driveway with this rather than the sears lawn and garden tractor. It's a brand new Cycle Country plow that a friend had stored in a barn for the past few years. I got on ebay and found a Cycle Country mount for Trailblazers. Installed in minutes. Next up, some chains for the rear tires and a couple sand bags for the rear rack.

Make sure you push the early snow back far enough. When you hit those piles later they don't move. I plowed for several years with a 2x4, you need rear rack weight and patience. good luck Doc

Chains on the rear tires will help a bit too.

With the little sears lawn mower I always pushed the first piles of snow about half way through the yard. It did a good job with chains on the rear tires. Like I mentioned, I'm planning on getting some rear chains for the quad before the snow flies and adding about 50-lbs of sand to the rear rack in the pic. It will certainly push show better than the 15 hp sears tractor. :)

Or, you could gain massive amounts of weight and you won't need the extra weights. We call it "winter fat" up here in New England. I've noticed it never seems to go away though.
