Anyone recognize this plug? I'm compfused!

I've had my pod off about a dozen times this month for plastic tab repair, aged duct tape removal, temp gauge install, HID install and various other repairs and upgrades. As I was about to take off for our night ride last night I see this plug just sitting there, staring at me. I don't recognize it, nor does it look to have been plugged into anything lately. It's a little glazed over and corroded inside. No fresh scrape marks from being plugged in.

Anyone recognize it? The machine's an '06 SP800 EFI.

Thanks! Erik

There's another smaller plug that connects to the rubber "efi diagnostics' plug in the pod. Could they both be for dealer diag equipment?

I have spare dangling plugs on my 2001 which does not have a computer diagnostic hook up. My thoughts is the harnesses are all the same and the extra hook up is for deluxe models that have thumb and hand grip warmers.

This a just a test plug for the factory,it doesnt hook up to our computer for Polaris Digital Wrench. Supposedly they power it up on the assy line to check out electrical, other than that we just stick em up into the pod. OPT

Ah, very cool thanks. Our 3-series models from '06 to late '08 had a battery kill switch for shipping from Germany and after you remove it at the dealership for deliver you shove the harness portion under the rear seat. Once in a while we'd get a car sold at another dealer where the cust was curious as why there was a harness lead sticking out from under the rear seat. Woops.

Thanks! Erik
