600 Sportsmas won't start, Please Help!!!
 

I was riding my 600 this afternoon and it quit. I changed both plugs, but it just sets there and cranks. I also checked my fuel filter, drained the bowl on the carburator, but it still won't fire. What could cause this problem?

You probably checked this but I'm gonna ask. Got spark?

If doesnt have spark,could be the Ducati coil pack or stator. Several posts already on the 600 and early 700 models and the Ducati ignition. Have the stator specs checked before you buy a coil pack,IF there is no spark! Good luck OPT

I came home this afternoon, tried it, it fired right up, I don't have an explanation for that.
