Who's clutch kit works?

Would like to order one today but I can't seem to find enough info on what each vendors clutch kits do, how well do they work? Please post your results and what kit you went with, thanks,

andy

Ive had good luck with my EPI kit. Ive never owned any other brand. Had EPI for two different sportsmans.

About to install an EPI big tire clutch kit on my 09 800. Went with them on my 05 800 and it was a great product!

I like Heel Clicker for the adjustability. I would buy it again.

So what did you get out of your clutch kits, were your springs you replaced already old? The stock clutching feels very lazy especially on the backshift.

Man I would give Rick Ritter a call @RcR 618-644-3211.He can set you up with what will personally get you where you want.If you insist on a complete kit spend the cash and go with Dalton Ind.
I personally do my own set ups with what parts actually work.
I know EPI posts on here but for complete kits I dont like their kits(some of the kits have stock weights and 40deg helix in them that you dont always need). Now some basic springs of theirs are great.

i recommend dalton clutch kits as well. i tried the h/c on 2 differnt bikes and even though they are adjustable i didn't like the overall perforcemance as you gain good some place and loose others. imo.:)

Most of my clutching is on the sport side. But if you tell me what you are looking for I can get you close but it takes time and $$$$ to custom tune one.I personally have a decent assortment of springs and weights.
The safest clutch spring to try would be a Polaris white or EPI red this will pep you up and get you a little more topend rpms but wont get you out of the safe range.Any higher rate spring will need weight to fine tune along with secondary spring adjusting.
