Holy smokes! I have been busy and forgot to check the thread! I tried to edit the original post, but it didn't give me the option??

All done, cept for 2 pieces of front trim. [smilie=anim_headbang.gif]

My total investment is $1300.00

I was able to repair most of the plastics using countersunk rivets with an aluminum backer plate then sandblasted and LineX'd em on both sides. I straightened the bars, replaced one rear upper A frame, straightened & trussed the front strut towers, built the bumper & added a winch and lights. I bought a new headlight and upper & lower headlight housings off the web and a rear rack from Ebay.

Stole part of the bumper design from the Duramax.

Looks awesome. I like how it almost matches the bumper on your truck.

That looks sharp. LineX makes your quad 1 of a kind. Interesting look.

In regards to bumper weight, only the top plate is 1\4. I am not sure how much the whole assembly (winch, shackles and bumper ) weigh's. And I really don't care. If the front starts saggin like someone mentioned, I will respring it and lift er back up!
Oh yea.....I fab'd up a set of nerf bars to protect the footwells, cause I saw a string on here refering to them being a easy damage item. (I paid $112.00 for the just right one!)

I did manage to take out last night back in the field, everything works as it should, goes straight down the road,4x4 works, etc. This thing does vibrate like crazy at idle tho........

Looks great and you also did some very impressive workmanship.
Question: You said you did some fender repair using countersunk rivets. Can you put up some pics of those areas with the LineX applied?

Yes, I can take the front hood off & snap a pic.

I do have a question, In the photo below, #23 is a small electrical module. What does it do? Mine has a little heat warp in it.......

Anyone know?
