86 250 trail boss won't start
 

was riding the other day and it backfired and died now won't start has good spark any ideas

check compression.

it blewout the crankshaft seals reinstalled them now i have no spark had spark yesterday but not after putting in the seals

Which seal? clutch side or flywheel side?

bolth sides we even took it apart again to check for broken wires but found none i dont understand what could be wrong just about reddy to take a B.F.H to it and trash it mabe the wife would let me get a new one

Did you pull the motor to do the seals> if you did, make sure you have the engine grounded Upper motor mount, If you pulled the wires off the wiring circuit did you put them back on in the same place? Just finished rebuilding my 92 and thats what frustrated me.

replaced the stater and now it has spark so should run like befor
