Default 2007 polaris 800 sportsman efi ideling issue

Looking for some possible guidance. My 800 sportsman, after running for a while dosent seem to want to idle right. It will idle around 500-700rpm's. You have to steaddily hold the gas to get it to crank. If the bike sets a few hours it runs fine, then starts wanting to idle low again after being ran for a few hours. You can smell a rich odor of gas and the bike is burning hellacious amounts of gas! The fuel filter and pump have been recently changed, so this cant be the problem. Can anyone help?

Check the wiring to the TBAP sensor. The shielding wears off and it causes abnormal idle, poor throttle response and sputtering at low rpm. Polaris makes a harness repair kit for this.
