Default Trying to find?

Trying to find that reverse overide mod that uses the relay so it won't mess with the instrument cluster. Anyone? I thought chuck randuez did a nice how to some time back with a diagram but I can't find it.

Quadovator has a diode kit that will do it without a relay. I think they are around $50. I prefer the relay with a toggle because it is a lot cheaper and safer since you can turn it off requiring an inexperienced rider to use the override. They sell cheaper diode kits on ebay but from what I have heard it's a smaller diode than quadovator uses and is prone to burning out.
