Thoughts on this price....Sportsman 550 non EPS
Got a quote on 2 2011 Sportsman 550's. Cost of machines is $12,398 (total) and shipped to my door for an additional $789. So, total price for everything is $13,187. Since it's out of state, state tax does not apply.
Since I live in CO and atv's must only be registered (not titled) to ride trails, I'm assuming I won't have to pay the state tax here. Is that correct?
Thanks!

As far as selling them goes, that's a good question. I just moved to CO last year so this is new to me. Anyone here from CO that has sold an ohv that was not titled? I'd be curious to know myself.
Thanks!
Edit: CSP also confirmed that there is no requirement to title an OHV in CO

That is correct. I just called Colorado State Parks (they do the registering, not the dmv) and they confirmed. They said a bill of sale to register is nice, but not necessary.

$13,187!!!!
MY god there M.S.R.P. is only $7,499.00 and no one pays Suggested price by manufacturer. http://www.atvreviewnetwork.com/enth...cleCode=199402
I live in rip off Canada and there on the floor for $8000+15% tax=$9200. and I thought that was hight since a 750KQ cost almost the same thing.
There MSRP in Canada is only $9,199.00 so if you Payed full Canadain MSRP with our crazy 15% taxes its still $10,580 out the door.
