Default So I think I screwed up

My Dumb$#@ tried to do the 3 headlight mod and screwed something up but I don't know what. First I had it wired and it blew the 2nd fuse from the left (looking as if you're sitting on the machine) which is a 20 amp fuse right when I turned the key. After I undid the wires and taped any copper showing the fuses didn't blow anymore. Instead the first 20 amp fuse on the left (looking at fuses while sitting on machine) started to blow. Everything seems to work on the Machine so I don't know what that fuse is for and have no service manual to see. I only have an owners manual and it shows nothing about what each fuse is for. Any help please

Nevermind, I found the problem. ME <--Thats the Problem lol....When I hooked up the positive to the 12v receptacle on the side of the pod (lighter) I took of the little nut that the + wire hooks to so I could put my mod wire there too. Well I let the inside of the lighter come out ( I guess you'd all have to take one apart or just know what i'm talking about to visualize this) and when I put it back in I had it twisted 90 degrees so the + prongs inside the lighter were constantly grounding out. I'm glad I found the problem but I should get the DUMBASS of the year award for that even though it's only May LOL.

Yep =) I wonder if the mod would have worked if I hadn't disconnected everything and found the problem first

most likely if it wasn't grounded out it might have worked.
