2004, Sportsman 500 won't start
 

When I turn the key I hear a clicking noise but no start. It starts fine with the pull rope, anyone have an idea on what to check first?

first thing to check is the battery fully charged and have good connections. if so then w/ the key on jump the 2 big cables on the solenoid which is in btween the battery and starter to see if the starter will engage. if you still have the clicking then the starter is the issue. if the starter does turn over the engine then the solenoid is the issue.:)
