I have on 09xp850 seems to have lost quite a bit of power since new. It has about 1900 miles on it. Took it to the dealer and they did some clutch work and told me it was fixed, well its not. Not sure what the rpms should be running? If i take off from a standstill in high range it will go to about 6600 then back off to between 6200 and 6300 and stay there. Im thinking this is quite a bit lower than should be but im not sure, seems like 7000 would be more in line? Any help would be appreciated

 

well the problem has shown its face. It has now started knocking in the bottom end and smoking pretty bad How difficult is it to get these motors out and torn apart?
