2010 550 XP....from Mike Wright ! NE Pat's

I just bought a 2010 550xp from Mike Wright !...he was the nose tackle for the NE Patriots...!!! cool guy...and retired from football at 30 yrs old...

Well anyway I need an owners manual for it....is that a dealer item or can I find one online....currently I was wondering how to and if the seat comes off !! lol..something simple is baffling me...maybe it doesnt...lol

want the descent control mode explained, stuff like that ..that the owners manual is for.

Anyway I found it on Craigslist of all places...Oh by the way it was loaded of course...and He explained it is a rare stealth black body that came off a bigger model that the dealer installed on the 550 for him...so a pretty rare look.

The seats usually just pull straight up, there's 'pegs' that hold them in nylon holders. I'm not sure on the 2010 if that is the same system though. The Automatic Descent Control is a great feature if you ride on steeper hills with loose material. The rear tires of the bike will grab at all times using the engine compression via the main drive belt. The ADC puts the front wheels into play when the bike is switched into all wheel drive. The bike will descend a steep hill with the greatest of rider control.

Getting a manual is key as is reading this website for tips. Old Polaris Tech is the best resource on the web for Polaris.

I would start by changing out all the fluids, the rear end, front end, the engine oil and the ADC fluid (and grease where applicable). This way you KNOW the condition of the fluids. The ADC system doesn't like dirty fluid (and the whole bike will last longer by keeping the fluids checked and changed). There's plenty of debate what brand to use for engine oil and for the front and rear end. However, there is NO debate for the ADC fluid. Only use Polaris ADC fluid. Oh yeah, keep up on the air filter as well.

Yes, we're not fond of the Mannings here in New England.

So, how'd the Cowboys do the last few seasons?
