Sportsman 800 Wiseco pistion info

I have a 07 Sportsman 800, that is burning a little oil. I want to put a fresh top end in the ATV. I want to use the Wiseco piston with the 12:1 compression ratio in the ATV, along with port and polishing the head, and I want to put a Heelclicker clutch kit in the ATV also. I am putting this post on here to see if there is anybody that has done this before and if anybody has any advice for me. If you have any information or advice for me, please let me know.

Thank you, Brian Hall.

Can't help you on the Wiseco for the 800,never installed em just used stock Polaris pistons, but can see it would make a big difference along with the rest of what you're doing. We had a bunch of Razr owners that ordered performance parts through us and through the internet and I've driven some of their wild machines. Some were pretty scary! I'm sure other will jump in on this that have done mods and give you some good tips. Product Search Engine For All Products - Wiseco Piston Inc. Good luck,OPT

also don't know about the piston deal, but i wouldn't waste my money on a heel clicker. on the 800's if gain in one place in the power, you will loose in other places;)

i take it by the look of the bike w/ the oversize tires, you are looking for a little better take off? on both my 06 and 08' 800's i had ran 27"'s tires and added a dalton primary spring to help w/ the take off. they do offer a whole kit for oversized tires. i should have mentioned i did a little r&d w/ the h/c kit for rcr racing and found that you loose top end and sometimes would be over reving the engine out of the power band and actually loosing HP. but each to thier own on the results they want.:)

On one of the TV shows I thought that I saw them overbore an early 760cc (in a RZR) into an 860cc and make some fuel mods. OPT do you think that engine could be overbored that much? Would the injection system as is, push enough fuel and air through to take advantage of the upsized piston?

I do know that in the next model year Polaris cranked another 15% out of that same 760 engine.
