1996 sportsman 400 rev limiter override???

I see a few threads talking about unhooking a black wire from a circuit board but I don't have one. Any help would be great!!!

It's an electro/mechanical awd system. You have to have a good battery to start with, If you don't have awd in reverse it could be that you have a problem in the wiring going to the hubs(small wiring connectors under the front panel)or a mechanical problem in the hubs. Plus if you haven't changed hub fluid in awhile it might be time to try this also. OPT
