So where/who do you guys buy your axle boots and bearing for 2001 sportsman 500 HO 4x4

You can't beat oem boots! I've tried after market ones and they just don't fit as well. Stay with oem cv boots and drive belts. If you have time you can order them here rather than the dealer.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse Item #12

If your referring to a wheel bearing you can pick one up at just about any auto parts store. Many of the sportsman's wheel bearings are the same as the older Ford escorts and some Mazda's. Just google sportsman wheel bearing cross reference and you'll find tons of info.

Do yourself a favor and stay with OEM, the aftermarket boots are no good as they never fit properly and are very difficult to seal.

I like the EPI boots. They seem to be thicker than the OEM....
