Others that ride em can give you a lot of tips,I just repaired them. Not trying to spoil your new ride,(they are great atvs!)but need to make you aware of electrical problems on the 2002 to early 2004 700s. "IF" you don't already have a replacement Kokusan ignition kit in this atv,the stock Ducati ignition system had a bad problem on failures. Some would do it sooner than others, but most all eventually will. http://gh-ftp.com/ORV%20Manuals/Pola...tion%20Kit.pdf

Mileage pretty hard to predict..All depends on speed, whether or not you are mudding. As for top speed I would expect around 60-65....Again depends if stock tires and clutching...

Just pop the front panel and see if you have the combo cdi/coil with the words Ducati on it. If you have a separate cdi and coil, then the previous owner installed the updated Kokusan kit.

Most all ATVs can count on more or less 18 miles per gallon. The 700 will hit 60 mph easily. Now my 500 almost hits 60 mph but the difference is it bleeds off speed on long straight inclines at that speed where the 700 will not nearly as much.
