9 out of 10 times it's usually a regulator/rectifier problem on charging.Resistance tests are not always completely accurate on all machines as you've seen. Very seldom is it a stator charge coil problem,but I have had to replace a few over the years that were the source of charging problems. Good luck on the next step on the awd.
