1996 Sportsman 500 (Should i buy?)
#12
Yup! Just paid 400 and found out the bendix wasn't even aligned. Released compression and fixed it. Put 100$ extra into it for just a broken Belt Drive Cover.
It sounds awesome. I kinda lied to the guy to make him bring it down to 400$
I said, "Engine's Seized. It will cost like 1200 to fix it."
Of course, it wasn't. Lol. I feel guilty. :l

Thats why I only buy used. I don,t do it to save a little but to save a lot.
I,m on my 5th ATV and 4 snowmobile and never bought a bad one yet.
The people I sold them to after I was done with it are still riding them.
So them bought a used, used one I guess. LOL
Even if I bought a bad one I could put up to $3000 into to match the cost of a new one. Thats enough to buy two new motors or rebuild a motor 3 or 4 times and no body has that much bad luck.
