That you need to talk to someone that has used the high performance kits that are available. I had my hands full just keeping em running stock. Aaen among others has performance kits, but high $$. http://www.aaenperformance.com/4S_P1.asp

Good price on both parts. If you order these parts ,DON'T tear the engine down before hand. I'll tell you the easiest way to install a new cam and rocker arm without having to mess with the bottom end when you get ready..It's not by the book

Never heard of them cams. May want to look up a review on them.
Could be from China and made out of lead and not worth the savings.

They show to have a warranty if installed by a dealer?? Many knock off parts are starting to show up now, some may be ok,some others questionable. But like they say,the warranty is only as good as the one that does the warranty? This place on Ebay could be here one day, gone the next? With the Cycle Parts Warehouse parts I ordered, they came in Polaris oem wrapping..

The only expensive gasket is a head gasket. the rest you can hammer out of a sheet of gasket paper or just use liquid gasket.

No gaskets needed. The head doesn't come off. The cam chain tensioner gasket usually stays on the cylinder, the cam removal cover has an o-ring that you can reuse, the thermostat housing(that has to be removed) reuses the gasket around the thermostat. Easy to change the cam and rocker arm out,IF you do it the right way.Plus the oil tank screen needs to be cleaned and engine sump drained before you install new oil and filter.

Great !
Thanks for all your HELP.
My dad ( I am 37) pretty much supplies us with machine's to drive.
I myself have a 1999 Polaris Xplorer.
He owns a bunch of ATV's - what man needs more than just a couple of ATVS ?

The least I can do is try to fix the machine he allowed me to drive for years !

When you get the cam in post again and I'll tell you step by step the easy way to change it out. It's fairly simple, but does have a few steps involved, just basic hand tools and a torque wrench needed. At one time I had 7 motorcycles and an LT50 Suzuki in the garage
