I have a 2000 Mag 325 4x4. I am looking to increase top end power without sacrificing low end power. Is a pipe an option? Does RCR carry any mods for this quad? I assume that any Trail Boss mods would carry over to the Magnum, as they both share the same motor. Thanks for your help.

Gutless,
I called Rick (RCR) about a month ago, about the 325mag and I reccomend you do the same. I will be sending mine in to him as soon as it is paid for, to get the 414cc work done on it. It costs around $400us plus shipping and insurance. other than that I really don't know of any mods worth the money.
hope this helps.

I still think the best way to increase the performance of the 325 Magnum is to trade it in on a 500. It'll cost you about the same in the long run, you'll have a warrenty again, and bigger tires.
In american dollars performance parts are just expensive. In Canadian dollars, with the import duties and everything it always works out to being RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE.

I don't know about up in Canada, but here in the states If you go to trade in your quad you are gonna get raped. if you paid $5300us for a 325 and ride it for six monthes to a year, and trade it in for a 500 you would bee lucky to get $4000 for it. Then the 500 is $5600. So the way i see it you are better off putting 400 into mods and having a bike that will give the 425 mags a run.
But everyone is entitled to there opinion, and spend your money how ever you want.
Just my two cents..

Well, trading in a quad, yes you may take a bit of a hit, though it will depend alot on the dealer, and of course the condition of the quad.
Selling it privatly though, you can get very good return. ATV's have an incredible resale value, and the prices of new ones keeps going up, which is a drag when you're buying, but is very nice when you're selling. I've seen adds for '99 Wolverine that are selling for more now than what I paid for mine 2 years ago (not including taxes of course)
The thing is, you'll never get that 325 to go anywhere near as fast as a 500, no matter how hard you try. Plus you'll be getting the bigger tires, better headlight and a new warrenty all over again. I just think you'd be throwing money away by trying to make the 325 be something it isn't. (Fast)
