Plus may not be a coincidence if you're readings are right on the stator also. You possibly may have TWO problems if the stator took the ecm out also. No really good tests to check the ecm,only that in the manual it mentions the battery protection circuit in the ecm and what it's supposed to do. If mine I'd get the cheaper of the two,the ecm and cross your fingers. Shops had the luxury of having plenty of spare parts when it came down to something like this to rule out one or the other as the problem when two sources are suspect.Owners don't.
